岩岡純子
時代ごとに変遷する女性美に関心を寄せて以来、美術作品の中に見られる普遍的な美と、流行によって作り出される美を照らし合わせた時に生まれる違いやズレを作品にしてきました。
近作では、名画そのものの普遍的な美と、日々過ぎ去っていく日常を重ね合わせることで見えてくる世界に興味を持って制作をしています。
I was drawn to how feminine beauty changes with the times. Since then, I have been creating artworks to reflect the differences and gaps that emerge when comparing the universal beauty found in works of art with the idea of beauty as created by trends.
In my recent works, my interest has turned to the world that becomes visible when you superimpose the universal beauty of masterpieces with the daily life that passes by.
